RNC BLASTS Vice Presidential Debate – Claims It Was RIGGED Against Pence
October 5, 2016 12:49pm PST
Just one week after moderator Lester Holt rigged the first presidential debate against Donald Trump, vice presidential debate moderator Elaine Quijano did the same thing when she allowed Tim Kaine to repeatedly speak over Mike Pence last night.
The Hill reported that the Republican National Committee sent an email out to reporters after the debate pointing out that Kaine was allowed to interrupt Pence a whopping 70 times during the debate. The email cited specific tweets in claiming that voters were turned off by Kaine’s aggressive style.
“Undecided voter in Ohio says, ‘Kaine came off like a jerk’ tonight. Adds that he ‘reinforced’ some of the negatives about Clinton,” read one tweet from CNN’s Dan Merica.
In a separate statement, RNC Chair Reince Priebus said Kaine “desperately flailed away with empty platitudes and constant interruptions.”
Millions of viewers all over the world took note of Kaine’s repeated interjections during the debate and lamented that Quijano was not stopping him at all. While Kaine interrupted Pence over 70 times, Trump’s running mate was only able to interrupt Clinton’s a measly 40 times.
While Trump was slammed in the mainstream media for interrupting Clinton repeatedly in the first debate, Kaine has been applauded for his interjections against Pence. Once again, Trump’s assertions that the mainstream media has rigged things against him has been proven true.
