Amy Schumer is a loudmouth comic who injects her radical liberal views into what she passes off as comedy routines. As a cousin of Democrat New York Sen. Chuck Schumer, the comedienne is firmly aligned with liberals when it comes to pushing for strong gun control laws and other progressive ideas.

Unfortunately for Schumer, however, she just learned the hard way that she crossed the line in her hateful mocking of Donald Trump when she was dropped from a lucrative ad campaign. Conservative Tribune reported that Anheuser-Busch InBev just pulled the plug on a Bud Light ad campaign that Schumer and fellow Hollywood liberal Seth Rogen after dismal third-quarter sales numbers.

“We recently wrapped the Bud Light Party campaign, (which was always intended to end in the fall), to transition to Bud Light’s NFL programming, supported by strong creative execution and significantly increased coverage of our team cans across the U.S.,” Lisa Weser, Bud Light’s senior director of marketing communications, told AdWeek in a statement.

The ad campaign revolved around a parody of election season and was known as “The Bud Light Party.” The ads began running just ahead of the Super Bowl this year, but they weren’t very humorous and included lots of liberal talking points that alienated many viewers.

“Despite continued positive signs in brand health evolution, driven by millennials and Hispanics, 3Q was the softest performance of Bud Light for the year from a volume and share perspective,” Weser wrote.

“The Bud Light Party campaign helped us improve these brand attributes, but it did not translate to improved volume and share performance,” she added. “While we are clearly not satisfied with Bud Light’s performance, we are already leveraging what we’ve learned to develop and execute new work.”

Instead of these ads, Budlight will now focus more on advertising related to the NFL, such as branding cans with specific teams and ads targeted to particular games featuring those teams in an attempt to appeal to their fans.
