The world was rocked by yet another terrorist attack on Friday, this time in the country of Israel.
The Times of Israel reported that a rabbi was killed and his wife and three children were injured in a drive-by shooting south of the West Bank city of Hebron. After the attack, Donald Trump took to Facebook to place some of the blame on Obama, who has been notoriously weak when it comes to terror, especially in Israel.
“Yet another terrorist attack today in Israel — a father, shot at by a Palestinian terrorist, was killed while driving his car, and two of his children who were passengers were severely injured,” Trump wrote in the post, according to Conservative Tribune.
“I also call upon President Obama to recognize and condemn each and every terrorist attack against our allies in Israel,” he wrote. “This cannot become the ‘new normal.’ It has to stop!”
The victim has been identified as 48 year-old Miki Mark, the head of a West Bank yeshiva. He left behind a wife and ten children, two of whom were injured in the attack.
Officials say his 14 year-old daughter is in moderate-to-serious condition while recovering at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem in Jerusalem. Mark’s 15 year-old son was reportedly “lightly injured” in the attack. Trump wrote in his post that three children were injured because early reports of the shooting indicated that this was the case.
Sadly, Mark’s wife suffered serious head injuries in the shooting, and the latest reports say she is unconscious. More than 20 bullet holes were found in the family’s car.
Hamas was quick to praise the attack, saying it was a response to “crimes against the Palestinian people.” However, they have not yet claimed responsibility for the shooting.
