Over the last few months, Hillary Clinton has somehow managed to avoid being questioned by the FBI about her use of a private, unsecured email server during her time as secretary of state. That’s why it came as very bad news to her this week when the FBI finally set a date to interrogate her.
A source close to the investigation told the Daily Caller that the interview will take place at Clinton’s home in Washington D.C. on Saturday. According to Western Journalism, this is thought to be the final step in the FBI’s investigation not only into the presidential candidate’s handling of classified information, but also into possible public corruption charges in relation to the Clinton Foundation.
This came days after it was revealed that Attorney General Loretta Lynch had privately met with Bill Clinton earlier this week on her government jet. Patriots have slammed her for this, since she will make the final decision on whether or not to charge the Democratic presidential candidate.
“The recommendations [of the FBI investigators] will be reviewed by career supervisors in the Department of Justice and in the FBI, and by the FBI director, and then as is the common process, they present it to me and I fully expect to accept their recommendations,” Lynch said Friday during a panel discussion in Aspen, Colo.
