On Monday night, Patricia Smith, mother of Benghazi victim Sean Smith, gave a beautifully emotional speech at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. While millions of Americans were touched by her words, Barack Hussein Obama was not one of them…
According to Conservative Tribune, Obama bashed the convention after Smith’s speech, calling it “strange and outrageous.” The Washington Times reported that he made these comments in a fundraising email for Hillary Clinton in which he also talked about the “laughable” speech Clint Eastwood gave at the RNC in 2012. In this speech, the Hollywood legend talked to an empty chair as if he were talking to the president, but the message clearly went over Obama’s head.
“Given who they’re about to nominate for president, a stunt like that could rank pretty low on the list of strange and outrageous incidents we see this week in Cleveland,” Obama added.
Obama also discussed Clinton herself, saying that Republicans will “drag her name through the mud, because that’s the only way they’ll convince anyone to vote for their nominee.” Obama obviously believes that Smith’s speech that held Clinton accountable for her son’s death counted as her “dragging her name through the mud.”
“I know Hillary can take it. She won’t back down from this fight,” he concluded.
