Hours after Hillary Clinton collapsed while leaving the 9/11 memorial in New York City on Sunday, her campaign finally admitted that she is suffering from Pneumonia. One day later, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump spoke out to call Clinton’s health “an issue” and say that he will release “very, very specific” details from a recent physical.
According to Western Journalism, Trump also showed what a big person he is by wishing Clinton a speedy recovery.
“Something’s going on, but I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail,” Trump said Monday on Fox and Friends. “The coughing fit was a week ago — I assume that was pneumonia also.”
While talking to CNBC, Trump questioned some of Clinton’s other health claims.
“It was interesting because they say pneumonia on Friday but she was coughing very, very badly a week ago and even before that this wasn’t the first time,” Trump said. “It’s very interesting to see what’s going on.”
Unlike Clinton, Trump promised to be transparent about his health by releasing “the numbers” from a physical examination he had last week.
“I think they’re going to be good. I feel great,” he said.
Clinton has been slammed by many for being dishonest about her health up to this point.
“I think it’s exceedingly important that Hillary Clinton be transparent about what’s going on,” said presidential historian Douglas Brinkley. “If she gets a report of pneumonia on Friday, they should try to tell the public in real time. The danger for a candidate is if they seem to be hiding their health history.”
