Fox News host Megyn Kelly has been alienating viewers for months now as she’s been using her show to shamelessly attack Donald Trump. During last night’s vice presidential debate, however, these attacks came back to bite Kelly as Trump finally let her know that he has had enough.
While live-tweeting last night’s debate, Trump began by fact-checking Kelly after she claimed on live television that he would be “surrounded by his team” as he tweeted.
“Kellyanne’s got the thumbs,” she said, according to Daily Mail. “Only when they’re released will he [tweet].”
Western Journalism reported that Kelly was referring to Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, who some claim has guided the outspoken GOP presidential nominee away from making damaging statements since she joined his team over the summer. Trump, however, wasn’t having any of it.
.@megynkelly– I am in Nevada. Sorry to inform you Kellyanne is in the audience. Better luck next time.

This is just the latest in the feud between Trump and Kelly, which has been ongoing ever since she moderated the first GOP debate over a year ago. Since then, Kelly has seen her ratings plummet as she continues to enrage Fox News viewers by attacking Trump.
