Last month, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick made headlines when he refused to stand as the national anthem played before a game. Within 24 hours, fans were burning his jersey to let him know that what he did was wrong.
Kaepernick tried to defend his shameful show of disrespect by race-baiting.
“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” he said of his protest. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”
Since then, Kaepernick’s protests have spread through the football world like wildfire, and now NFL legend Herschel Walker has finally had enough.
According to Western Journalism, the former Heisman Trophy winner defied Kaepernick and his fellow race-baiters by defending Donald Trump from comments about women that he made in the audio clip released last weekend. Walker said that with all the problems facing Americans today, we should probably find something else to worry about other than the comments made 11 years ago by a man who at the time was a reality show star and a kingpin in the no-holds barred world of real estate development.
“What he’s done years ago man, some of this stuff is just showbiz, as I call it,” Walker said in a video shared on TMZ.
