Even though Election Day isn’t until tomorrow, about half of all active registered voters in the crucial state of Florida have already voted.
Click Orlando reported that the state Division of Elections released numbers on Monday stating 6.42 million voters have either voted early or voted by mail. There are almost 12.9 million active registered voters in the state.
Though early voting wrapped up over the weekend, election supervisors can continue to accept mailed in ballots. Early numbers show that Democrats have over an 87,000 point lead over Republicans in the state, with 2.55 liberals having voted early compared to 2.47 million conservatives.
Over 1.23 million Independents have also voted at this time.
