The FBI dropped a bombshell on Friday when they revealed they had reopened the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server as Secretary of State. Since then, Clinton has plummeted in the polls, but the GOP is still preparing for the worst case scenario of her winning.
The Blaze reported that Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson said there is a good chance Clinton will quickly be impeached if she somehow manages to win this election. He said that her decision to use a personal email server while Secretary of State combined with the coverup after amounts to impeachable charges.
“She purposefully circumvented [the law], this was willful concealment and destruction,” Johnson said. “I’m not a lawyer, but this is clearly written. I would say yes, high crime or misdemeanor, I believe she is in violation of both laws.”
Beloit Daily News reported:
Johnson cited 18 U.S. Code 793 (f) and 18 U.S. Code 2071, which have to do with the willful destruction or removal from proper custody of information relating to national defense. Johnson honed in on the latter of the two, which reads in part that anyone found to have concealed or removed records “shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States.”
We still think Trump will win this election, but if he does not, it is CRUCIAL that Clinton is quickly impeached. What do you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
