BREAKING: Megyn Kelly Rumored To Be Having An Affair With THIS Fox News Host

Earlier today, we reported that Fox News host Megyn Kelly dropped a bombshell in her new memoir when she accused disgraced CEO Roger Ailes of sexually harassing her. Now, it has been revealed that Kelly broke her silence in her new book about the longstanding rumor that she had an affair with her fellow Fox News host Brit Hume, and essentially slept her way to the top at the network.

Daily Mail reported that rumors of this affair first began circulating in 2007, after Hume took Kelly under his wing when she began contributing legal segments for his show “Special Report with Brit Hume.”

Kelly recalled that when she first met Brit and his wife Kim Hume, then managing editor and bureau chief of Fox News Washington bureau, the trio hit it off right away. The Humes helped her develop her confidant on-air persona from the time Ailes hired her, even though she described herself at the time as “green” and “stiff.”

When rumors first circulated about the affair, Kelly had just divorced her first husband, Dr. Dan Kendall, but the Humes were still very much married. Various media outlets labelled Kelly “Humewrecker,” and she was humiliated at the thought that people would think she slept her way to the top.

Brit, however, was unperturbed by the rumors. Kelly wrote that he was “strutting around the office proud as a peacock” after the news broke, and that he went into her office with a big smile on his face asking if she’d seen the report. He seemed stunned that she was upset, causing Kelly to lash out at him.

“You’re Brit f**king Hume. Nobody knows me, They’ll see that I’m thirty years younger and blond and they’ll just assume that’s the whole story,” Kelly told him. Brit replied that nobody would believe it since there was no proof, and since it wasn’t true. Rumors, however, have persisted.
