Liberals everywhere were hoping and praying that Donald Trump would want to return to his businesses in four years and therefore not even run for president for a second term. That’s why it came as bad news to them today when he announced that he fully intends to be president for the next eight years.
“Great meetings will take place today at Trump Tower concerning the formation of the people who will run our government for the next 8 years,” he tweeted, according to Western Journalism.

Though he has not yet formally announced that he will run for a second term, it seems clear that that is his intention. This is corroborated by a campaign speech Trump gave in Michigan three months ago when he hinted that he would easily win if he ran again in 2020.
“At the end of four years, I guarantee you that I will get 95 percent of the African-American vote — I promise you — because I will produce for the inner cities and I will produce for the African-Americans,” he said at the time, according to the International Business Times.
Many experts have agreed that if the Democrats don’t change their tactics, they will likely lose again in 2020. Even former Democrat primary candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. has admitted that major changes must be made.
“I think that there needs to be a profound change in the way the Democratic Party does business,” he said last week. “It is not good enough to have a liberal elite. I come from the white working class, and I am deeply humiliated that the Democratic Party cannot talk to where I came from.”
