Fans of Fox Business News are devastated this week after it was announced that popular host John Stossel will be stepping down from his weekly show Stossel later this month December.
The Political Insider reported that his show Stossel debuted in December of 2009 and has been airing at 8pm on Friday night ever since. The final episode will air on December 16. Though Stossel, 69, will no longer have a regular show, he will still appear regularly as a contributor on FBN and Fox News.
According to Mediaite, Stossel is planning to team up with ReasonTV to start up a libertarian-themed internet platform. In addition, he will serve as an educator with the Charles Koch Institute’s new Creative Fellows Program.
Stossel has earned 19 Emmy awards during his distinguished career, which began at ABC for decades before he joined the Fox family in 2009. He will be dearly missed on the network, but we’re glad he’s not gone for good!
