Hillary Clinton thought she was in the clear when Donald Trump recently said he was not interested in pursuing the investigation into her use of a personal email server. That’s why it came as devastating news today when top Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway revealed that the president-elect may move forward with investigating her after all.
During an interview with Good Morning America on Friday morning, Conway suggested that all options are still on the table.
“There will be officials who are in charge of such things in the Trump administration who may look at that again,” Conway said, according to Daily Mail.
Conway added that Trump is “moving on to focus on the future, not the past. And he has said to The New York Times, on the record – he thinks that the Clintons have suffered enough.” She went on to say that “of course…the Department of Justice, the different committees, the FBI perhaps, can take a different look.”
The former campaign manager said she “would not be able to say” if Trump’s administration would encourage this.
“Nobody expects – nobody’s talking about that right now,” she explained.
