Michelle Obama RUINS ‘Twas A Night Before Christmas’ With ‘Politically Correct’ Reading

Throughout Barack Obama’s sham of a presidency, he has waged a “war on Christmas” as he tried to censor the holiday in the name of political correctness. This week, his wife Michelle got in on this when she gave a “politically correct” reading of the classic “Twas the Night Before Christmas” to a group of sick children.

Daily Mail reported that Michelle teamed up with Ryan Seacrest on Monday night to read the classic Christmas poem at Children’s National Health System, a Washington, DC hospital. Disturbed by the¬†politically incorrect description of Saint Nick as a chubby pipe-smoker, Michelle decided to edit the poem, which was written nearly 200 years ago.

Michelle began the reading, saying, “Well, we have a story to tell you ‘ a story about Christmas night and this guy named…”

“Old Saint Nick,” Seacrest said, finishing her sentence.

All was going well until they got to the part about Santa smoking.

“His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, and the beard on his chin was as white as the snow,” Seacrest said before letting Michelle take over.

“The stump of a pipe-” Michelle began before she stopped herself. “I think St. Nick gave up smoking.”

“This was a long time back,” she said as she laughed.

“This was written way back in the day,” Seacrest agreed.

Give me a break!

Later on, Seacrest tried to make the poem more politically correct when he refused to “fat-shame” Santa. He did this when Saint Nick was described as having a “little round belly, That shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly.”

“I mean this as a compliment,” Seacrest said carefully, before continuing, “He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf, And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself.”

This shows just how ridiculous liberals have become in their quest for political correctness. SHARE this story if this video makes you SICK!
