In the eight years Barack Hussein Obama has been in office, he has shown time and time again that he has no respect for Christianity. That’s why Donald Trump’s devotion to the Christian faith is so refreshing.
In the video above, Trump explains his close relationship to both God and the Bible in a way Obama never could.
“I believe in God,” Trump is seen saying. “I believe in the Bible. I’m Christian. I love people.” He lashed out against political correctness, asking the audience, “Remember the expression ‘Merry Christmas?’ You don’t see it. You’re going to see it if I’m elected.”
This comes as Trump has made it clear that winning the war on Christmas is a major goal of his presidency.
“I go out of my way to use the word ‘Christmas.’ There’s an assault on anything having to do with Christianity,” Trump said in a recent interview, according to GOP The Daily Dose. “They don’t want to use the word ‘Christmas’ anymore at department stores. There’s always lawsuits and unfortunately a lot of those lawsuits are won by the other side.”
“I will assault that. I will go so strongly against so many things, when they take away the word Christmas,” he added.
