Megyn Kelly shocked everyone yesterday when she announced that she is leaving Fox News to take a job at rival network NBC News.

In the hours since Kelly made this announcement, speculation has run rampant as to who her replacement will be. Now, former Fox News host Greta Van Susteren has broken her silence to say who she thinks should replace Kelly, and her choice may surprise you.

The Blaze reported that Van Susteren took to Twitter so say that she believes The Five host Kimberly Guilfoyle is the right person to take over for Kelly.

“OK … I will weigh in … I think @kimguilfoyle would be a good choice for the Fox 9pm – she is smart and fun … viewers love her,” Van Susteren wrote Tuesday hours after Kelly announced her departure.

Van Susteren went on to explain that she has always seen Guilfoyle as an evening anchor.

Van Susteren then said that Guilfoyle is loved by both Fox colleagues and fans alike.

Do you think Guilfoyle would be a good choice to replace Kelly? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
