Sarah Palin got some bad news this week after her son Track Palin’s ex-girlfriend filed for sole custody of their newborn son in Anchorage, Alaska.
Radar Online reported that Jordan Loewe, 27, filed for sole custody of the baby almost exactly a year after Track, 27, was arrested for allegedly assaulting her at his parents’ home in Wasilla. In her filing, Loewe wrote that she is “concerned” about both her own safety and that of her child, Charlie Mitchell Palin.
Court documents state that Loewe is seeking primary physical custody and wants Track’s visitation to be “completely” at her discretion.
Track was arrested on January 18 of last year after Loewe told police he punched her in the face before threatening to shoot himself with an AR-15 rifle. Daily Mail reported faced multiple charges including assault, interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime and possessing a weapon while intoxicated. The first two charges were dropped months later after Track agreed to plead guilty to misconduct involving weapons while being under the influence.
In addition, Track agreed to enter a therapeutic program for “several months” to deal with the post-traumatic stress disorder that he came back from Iraq with. Sarah Palin herself said that Track came back from Iraq “a bit different” and blamed the incident with Loewe on his PTST.
Sarah Palin is extremely close to her family, so it’s obvious that this is all weighing on her a lot right now. SHARE this story if you’re sending prayers to Sarah Palin and her entire family!
