The Mexican President Just Insulted Trump In A BIG Way, His Response Is EPIC!

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto announced on Thursday that he will not be attending the meeting planned with President Trump next week.

The cancellation is a response to President Trump’s determined efforts to begin construction on the Mexican/American border wall and his crack down on illegal immigration.

“This morning we informed the White House that I will not attend the work meeting planned for next Tuesday with @POTUS,” Peña Nieto tweeted in announcing the cancellation.

Mexico is the U.S. third-largest trading partner and is the second-largest export market for American-made goods, according to the U.S. Trade Representative.

The value of the Mexican peso has plummeted after Peña Nieto’s announcement that he wouldn’t be attending the meeting.

Via The Hill “The U.S. has a 60 billion dollar trade deficit with Mexico,” Trump wrote in a series of tweets Thursday morning. “It has been a one-sided deal from the beginning of NAFTA with massive numbers of jobs and companies lost. If Mexico is unwilling to pay for the badly needed wall, then it would be better to cancel the upcoming meeting.”

White House press secretary Sean Spicer has assured reporters that the White House plans to reschedule the meeting.

“We’ll look for a date to schedule something in the future,” he said.

President Trump’s constituents no doubt applaud him for standing his ground in the face of displeasure from politicians, both domestic and abroad.
