On Thursday, Donald Trump gave a press conference in which he blasted CNN, telling them once again that they really are “fake news.” Afterwards, the mainstream media blasted Trump for attacking the press, but it appears that the American public agreed with what our president did.
Right Wing News reported that the latest polls have Trump at a 55% approval rating among likely voters, compared to 45% who disapprove of him. This report was released Friday, after Trump’s controversial press conference, and it shows that Trump’s approval ratings are actually going up despite what the mainstream media would have you believe.
This means that the majority of Americans actually DO agree with Trump’s immigration policies and approve of his temporary ban on refugees and visas from seven Muslim countries. They also approve of the way Trump blasted CNN’s Jim Acosta during the press conference.
“You look at your show that goes on at 10 in the evening. The panel is almost always exclusively anti-Trump. The good news is he doesn’t have good ratings … But the hatred and venom coming from his mouth,” Trump said. “I watch it, I see it, I am amazed by it.”
“They’ll take this news conference,” he continued. “I’m actually having a very good time, but they’ll take this news conference … That’s how I won. I won with news conferences and speeches. I certainly didn’t win with you people, that’s for sure. But I am having a good time.
“Tomorrow you will say: Donald Trump rants and raves … But I’m not ranting and raving,” the president said for dramatic emphasis. “I love this. I’m having a good time. But tomorrow, the headlines are going to be: Donald Trump rants and raves,” he explained.
