Rosie O’Donnell Gets Some Bad News After Bashing Trump

Rosie O’Donnell tried to give her struggling career a boost and take a shot at her nemesis Donald Trump when she begged Saturday Night Live! to allow her to impersonate White House chief strategist Steve Bannon on the show this week. Unfortunately for Rosie, however, her plan didn’t work out very well.

ABC News reported that O’Donnell’s publicist quietly announced today that she will not be portraying Bannon.

This came a day after O’Donnell replaced her Twitter avatar with a photo of her face on Bannon’s head, sparking rumors that she would indeed be performing on the NBC sketch comedy show. A representative for Saturday Night Live! released a brief statement saying, “We do not comment on rumored guest appearances.”

O’Donnell began her quest to get on Saturday Night Live! on Monday with a Twitter post.

“I am here to serve,” O’Donnell wrote. “Alec [Baldwin] has Trump – Melissa [McCarthy] has [White House press secretary Sean] Spice[r] – I would need a few days to prepare – so if called – I will be ready.”

Clearly, Saturday Night Live! wanted nothing to do with O’Donnell and her vendetta against Trump. SHARE this story if you can’t STAND Rosie O’Donnell!
